Midfielder Gilberto Silva has revealed that everyone connected with the club are depressed after the result against Liverpool, and that his team mates will have to pick themselves up quickly for the game against Manchester United.
The Gunners have to win at Old Trafford to have any chance of winning the Premiership.
Arsenal were knocked out of the Champions League after a dodgy penalty was awarded to Liverpool when defender Kolo Touré tangled with Ryan Babel.
This was after the Gunners had scored the second away goal that would have seen them progress to the next stage.
Gilberto said: "Everyone is very disappointed with the result especially because of the way we played.
"We were unlucky. The big decisions went against us this time.
"We did very well to equalise, it is very hard especially when you play away from home and are behind.
"To score is not that easy but maybe we missed our concentration in the final minutes.
"I don't know if I will be watching the semi-final games now. It will be very painful.
"Sometimes you learn more in defeat than you do when you win but, of course, no one at this club enjoys it when you lose the game, especially an opportunity to get into a Champions League semi-final.
"We will learn from the result but I would prefer to learn when we achieve good things."

the statement of a captain!! where's gallas when the team needs him... he's supposed to be encouraging them not just barking out orders like he was at the beginning of the game the other day...
