Wenger: We have to win at United

Manager Arsène Wenger has admitted that his side stand no chance of winning the Premiership if they don't win at Manchester United tomorrow.

The Gunners are currently six points adrift with five games left to play.

After being knocked out of the Champions League, the Premiership is the only realistic trophy left to play for and Wenger has said that three points tomorrow is a must.

Wenger said: "It will be the greatest achievement of my career to win the Premier League now because we are swimming against the stream at the moment.

"For us the game on Sunday is the game of the season. If we do not win this game we have no chance.

"We will fight until the last second of the championship."

"It depends on what happens on Sunday.

"If we win then we can win the title and that's what is important for us to focus on.

"What is at stake on Sunday is the work of a whole year. If we go there and don't believe in ourselves then it is over.

"But do you really think that we will go to Manchester United thinking that our season is over? That would be ridiculous.

"We have worked extremely hard since the first day of the season against all the odds.

"We will fight until the last second of the championship, especially on Sunday. If we win on Sunday then realistically we can win the title."

DREAM ON.... We are the most unlucky team in the world. i mean we are being picked and cheated on by refs. If you are that unlucky with refs, the last place you want to play a game that will end your season is OLD TRAFFORD. Everything
goes against every team at OLD TRAFFORD. Even teams dont bother to go there to win. TEAMS GO THERE TO MARK THE REGISTER. I'm going to watch the match live, so we might win. Throught-out last season we didn't loose a single game out of all the ones that i watch, and watched over 25games. This season seem to be UNBELIEVABLE. FA Cup, Carling Cup, Champions Leag & Premier League (before EDUARDO's injury). As for me this season is over all i want to see is THEO, BENDTNER and SONG doing there thing for Arsenal.

I agree we need to win on Sunday even if it is just to stabilise the teams run of relatvely poor form as well as raising the fans morale. Then who knows? We would probably then have to win all our remaining fixtures and hope other results go our way. I certainly do not subscribe to the notion that Man. Utd can't be caught, or, that they are significantly better than than say Chelsea or ourselves. So, I will be hoping for a great performance from the team on Sunday - one that will justify Arsene's faith in them!
