Wenger praise for Ronaldo

Manager Arsène Wenger has praised Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo for the Portugese forward's achievements this season.

Ronaldo has scored 37 goals from the wing for United this season and was worthy of being called the best player in the world.

Wenger said: "Cristiano is the best player in the world at the moment because he has the combination of the two most difficult things in life - style and efficiency.

"I have always loved efficiency and he had that in the goals he has scored.

"He plays as a winger but he's scored 37 goals. You cannot deny that."

Here's hoping that he won't be adding to his goals tally later on today.

The strikers and midfielders need to take shots from further out and and not try and not try and run it into the goals. When they take more chances they will get more goals and maybe win some cups but its easy to say what must be done but its alot more difficult to do so good luck coach

Wenger would never buy a Ronaldo-type player as he has shown that he can't manage big-name players, players whose egos challenge his own. Instead he revels in cheap unknowns, selling players once they become too well-known and then replaces them with rubbish. Thanks Arsene, but now its time for someone else to come in and take Arsenal to the next level.

We need a player like ronaldo. Arsenal never really replaced Pires and Ljungberg who both scored 15 goals a season each. We desperately miss those goals from wide.

Arsene i bet you wish you had this sort of player in our team, imagine a midfielder outscoring all strikers. After today's game against ManU i hope you have started to analyse what needs to be done for next season & please do the right thing as a 5th year without silverware could dent your career & put a question mark on your future with Arsenal.
