Clichy urging Flamster to sign-on

Left-back Gaël Clichy is urging midfielder Mathieu Flamini to sign the contract on offer from Arsenal and stay on at the club.

Clichy has advised Flamini to not give up what he's developed at the club over the past few seasons, and that although sometimes it would be a good decision to leave a club and seek pastures new, it is not always the right decision.

The Frenchman said: "You have many examples of players, like Lassana Diarra, who just arrived and decided to leave after five months, now he is playing regularly and is a fantastic player.

"Sometimes it's a good choice to leave, sometimes it's a bad choice to leave. It's really up to him you know.

"You can say that if he moves to Juve he will be playing regularly and that would be the perfect choice.

"But if he leaves and is not played people will say he made a mistake.

"The only person who can say something about that is Mathieu.

"We will see in a few weeks or in a few months what he will decide but it would be a big blow to lose Mathieu because he has been great this season and he is a great guy.

"But once again it's his decision and he will decide what he wants to do."

Let him go Wenger. Let everyone stop pushing Flamini's ass to sign the contract. The guy isn't bothered at all. I mean what kind of a player whose negotiations for contract have been going on for 4,5 months doesn't get it renewed. I don't call that an Arsenal player.

Flamini is a traitor and he always will be! He betrayed his coach at Marseille and left for Arsenal 4 years ago, even though he promised to sign a new contract with them.
