Forum upgrade progress report

We experienced some technical difficulties yesterday during the upgrade process, and this inevitably has delayed the process.

Unfortunately, we've been unable to turn the current forum back on because of a risk of inconsistent data on the new forum, as we are migrating the old forum to a new database as well.

We are way behind schedule as we initially thought the upgrade would take a few hours, and it has now taken close to 24 hours, though the finishing line is in sight.

It is expected that we will have the new forum up and running today.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

No need to apologise for the delay Jonathan; you provide a great yet free service for which we are all grateful. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Cheers for everything.

Jonathan wouldnīt be better to write the right time finally? The time have been changed 8 times at least. Just write please check back in 2 years or donīt write the time at all if you donīt know when it will be complete - it will be much better. Thanks.

It`s only when something is gone you realise how important it is for you (everyday).

It's now converted 464086 out of 1267356 forum posts. Hang in there. I'm trying my best to bring this back up as quick as I can.
