Fabregas: This win is for Arsenal fans

Midfielder Francesc Fabregas has dedicated his country's European Championships win to Arsenal fans worldwide.

Spain won Euro 2008 by beating Germany in the final 1-0, the goal being scored by Liverpool's Fernando Torres.

Fabregas said: "Of course, that was the happiest day of my life as a professional footballer.

"It was also for the Arsenal fans that have been suffering a lot this year. For them, at least one player has won something. It is for them."

Fab, you are the most talanted mid-fielder in the globe and also a team player. Which was also shown at the Euro. Arsenal is very lucky to have you and we love you veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy much.And every one of Arsenal fan would like you to play in every match. YOu are the best there is.

Congrats Cesc. I'm proud as one of Arsenal fans. Early since Spain Coach Aragones chose u as part of the team, I believe Spain will have big apportunity to be the best in the Europe. You have shown a spirit and your talent to help Spain to be the winner even oftenly u are as a special subtitude. And Spain mid field always more stroger and stronger if you are there.

Once upon a time we had a lot to fight for,we had a dream,we had a plan...but now..if we have Cesc we`re sure that we`ll win,before the game starts.Cesc was the best player of Euro2008,not Xavi.But he is young and he will have a lot of opportunities.It`s a great pleasure to see him playing.

Cesc has the opportunity to leave and get an outrageous salary, however, he choses to stick with his Arsenal contract. This is a true footballer, who is not totally influenced by money. He is a loyal player, and this is why us fans love him. I hope he can inspire the next generation of footballers. Forget those money hungry players like flamini, adebayor and hleb.

I WISH SOME OF THE OTHER PLAYERS HAD A BIT OF LOYALTY TO ARSENAL AS CESC HAS SHOWN, (NO NAMES MENTIONED BUT EASILY GUESSED. HE TRULY HAS A WISE HEAD ON YOUNG SHOULDERS I WAS CHEERING SPAIN ON BECAUSE OF CESC AND THE WAY THE GAME SHOULD BE PLAYED.

thanx a millions times cesc for knowing that we the arsenal fans have suffered as a result of not getting any trophy this shows how u do value the club and the fans too , with that said i know come next season we gonna go up to the end .

I met Cesc after he had completed his first season in the first team. He was with Seb Larson at the time in a coffee shop. When i asked him (along with Seb) for a picture he almost seemed embarrassed by the attention. He just came across as a really well grounded and likable guy.

I remember my girlfriend saying that she thought he was a youth player because of his diminutive stature. However what Cesc shows in abundance especially when compared to many of his peers is talent, humility, class and loyalty. When he does go it will be with my blessing because whenever I have seen him play he has done so with 100% commitment and he is not completely self absorbed.

Amazing lad. Cesc we love you just as much. I really have not felt as good as this is quite a while now and to be honest my heart was beating for spain. I wanted Cesc to win, and he did. He deserves more recognition in the Spanish setup but I am sure it'll come in due course.
