New signing Samir Nasri has said that he's happy with his league debut, when the French winger scored the winning goal against a determined West Brom side.
It was thought that the former Marseilles man would use this season as one to get acclimatised with the fast pace of the Premiership, but it would seem that he is settling in well.
The Frenchman also revealed that he has a personal trainer who is helping him build-up on the physical side of his game, ready for the difficult matches against the likes of Blackburn, Newcastle, et al.
Nasri said: "I could not dream of a better start, to score in my first game after four minutes.
"Now I will have to continue week in and week out, and hopefully I can keep playing like that, it will be brilliant.
"There were not that many problems for me to adapt to playing in England.
"When I first met the boss, he said that maybe I would need a bit of time, maybe up to six months - but actually I felt really good straight away.
"I have a personal programme with the physio to get stronger, because everyone has told me English football is different, with more contact.
"It is just to be stronger and to be able to cope with the 50/50s, with the intensity of English football.
"I am working hard in training and felt really good out on the pitch."
However, he urged Arsenal fans to still be patient with him, and stressed that he was no Zinedine Zidane, another Frenchman whom he has often been with, due to their Algerian descents.
Nasri added: "It is of course flattering, but also a bit annoying as well because that is a lot of pressure.
"It is hard to be compared to such a player, the best of the past 10 years in European football.
"When you are a young player, you tend to be a bit irregular and not play so well every week.
"It is a lot of pressure and I would rather be known as Samir Nasri."

Wow.. 1 win out of 30.. 29 more 2 go... I believe the premiership will be another close finish once again just that this time Liverpool may get ruled out at around March( not December)... Arsenal need 90 points 2 win the league. so if you Gunner hopeful continue to pray we take one game at a time we can do it..

Great debut by a top addition. With the internationals coming up hopefully Wenger can tie up the final piece of the puzzle.
With September fast approaching we'll have Rosicky and Fab along with the new signing coming in to add significant strenght to the squad.
Did all the dooms day merchants notice how utd fared without some of their superstars?
