Manager Arsène Wenger has revealed that new signing Mikael Silvestre will not start against Fulham but might be involved at some stage as he tries to regain full fitness from a groin injury.
However, exciting defensive prospect Alex Song, fresh from his Olympic exploits with Cameroon, has been included in the squad.
Midfielder Francesc Fabregas has recovered from a hamstring injury but still may be a bit short for the match on Saturday.
Wenger said: "I am not sure about Silvestre as he has a little muscular problem, but Song is [in the squad].
"Well Cesc is doing very well in training. He won't be ready for Saturday but has a chance to be ok for Wednesday. We don't want to gamble on him for one game, we have to be patient.
"[Abou] Diaby doesn't look too far away and hopefully there will be good news on [Tomas] Rosicky in the next two weeks."

We all can see why Arsenal need depth with quality. Not every games we expect Fabrigas to play even when fit. As for Silvestre, am not bordered if he didn't get to play now as i see him as a necessary cover for the inform and fit Clichy.
