Right-back Emmanuel Eboue has earned praise from manager Arsène Wenger for his contribution this season so far.
Eboue has come under criticism from certain quarters in the Arsenal fan base for his gamesmanship and theatrical antics on the pitch.
However, Wenger sees a different side in Eboue, saying that the Ivory Coast international's game has improved, especially with regards to providing the final pass.
The Frenchman said: "Since the start of the season, Eboue has played well.
"He had two good games in central midfield. At Fulham, he was one of the players who was not disappointing and he had a good performance against Newcastle as well.
"He's a football player. Sometimes I play him, sometimes Walcott, sometimes Nasri [out wide].
"There was a little bit of frustration from the fans because they thought that he didn't always have enough end-product, but he has improved a lot in that respect. He has put over good final balls since the start of the season."

we have said this player & that player are gud that one is gud but what counts isnt the gud or bad of a player its whether the players have won anything the P.league,CL,FA or Carling.its like a team playing very nice football gud passes, crosses but whats needed is goals so that u can win wat is at stake.we said flamini is soo gud while playing at asenal he left us why coz he wanted to win trophies.i wud prefer a team not to play a plaesing football poor passes from ebue blocking a shot on target from fabregas by bedtner but at the end of the day the team wins a trophy.Come on u wenger swallow ua words en buy super stars or isnt that the case with man u-barbatov,chelsea-deco,man city-robinhophilipsbenhaim?

he is shite... my eyes don't lie...not these babies!! Not only is he rubbish but he is bad luck.. Think.... is he as good as Lauren used to be at right back? is he as good as freddie playing wide right? Has he produced consistently like Parlour? NO, NO and NO. We don't generally feed off crosses so his delivery is negligible. We will not win anything whilst he is in the team...i'm telling you... mark my words... its Nelson Vivas syndrome!!! I'm not just having ago or scapegoating... I have a bad feeling every time I see him in an Arsenal shirt.

I really don't know what to say for this.It seems as though it is a justification for not signing a defensive midfielder, which is essential for our squad depth, as all of us know very well.I know eboue has been good in a couple of matches so far,but that doesn't mean we can run away from hardcore facts about our squad depth.

I think we need a strong experience bullish agile no nonsence defender, a strong holding experience midflield athletic, ability to distrubute good balls, to sit in front of the back four and distribute good balls while the wingers and the fowards attack and one bullish experience forward good sight composure with clinical finish no chance waster since games come with only very few chances and must be taken. we have to win a treble
thanks

Eboue will be the surprise package this year. Much like Edu, and Flamini before he was endured many critisisms and now when we least expect will suddenly turn into one of the best players in the premieship...
... this will promptly be followed by a swift transfer to the real madrid in the summer.

In the day after deadline transfers, he comes out and talks about EBOUE...what a news for us fans... instead of signing a new player we have to deal with players out of position, injury prone, no leadership in the pitch, that makes me crazy but Im not gonna care anymore ... by the way, we only have one pass master and he is Fabregas...I hope he will not leave next summer.
