Manager Arsène Wenger has praised the efficiency of his squad after seeing them claim a 4-0 win away to Blackburn Rovers.
Goals from Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor helped seal the emphatic win, with the Togolese international bagging a hat-trick.
Wenger said: "It is always good when you're clinical and efficient and that's what we were today.
"We played well but, more importantly, we took our chances when they came.
"We've been doing that a lot recently and hopefully that bodes well. We have players all over the park who can score and, again, Walcott was outstanding for us.
"It is always interesting at the top of the table and today's results show that this promises to be a very interesting Premier League again."

i appreciate everybody comment is nice but this is how fans happy last season when the season started we started with god games but later injury came wedraw like 5 matches at the same time.the performance of denilson, walcot and song is good for the team but let consider injury.now if anything happen to fabregas we are in trouble we need replacement for this guy.you can tell me that ramsey can withstand the midfield of chelsea or man u.i know we will try the season but once injury show up like this we are in trouble again.finally my advise for arsene wenger is that thedefence is not good enough.the combination of toure and gallas is very poor they re not communicating.i'm still gunners 4 life.

i think arsene wenger should try to work more on the gunners defens most especially, the defensive milfiders. i also want to commend on samir nasril, for me he is a good replacement for alex hleb. i remain gunner forever.

Its about team balance. A team of stars also is a team of egos, high expectations, money, and invariably player conflict. Look at what happens to most big named players, Ronaldo, Robinho, Kaka, even Henry, they are continually chased by other clubs, and demand their position in the team even when they are not playing well. Other lesser team mates look to pass to them rather than chosing the best passing option.
What if Wenger decided to buy a big named players when Rosisky or Eduardo went on long term injury. We would not have seen Walcott develop or Denilson and Song step up. These players may have chosen to leave Arsenal to other clubs seeking better opportunities.
Big names doesn't always work and it seems Wenger has found a good mix of youth, experience, talent and skill to challenge for silverware. In 2007/08 we lost far too many players and that is what cost us silverware. (RVP, Eduardo, Rosicky, Toure, Sagna, Diaby etc is a lot to cover) Just Take Rooney, Ferdinand and Ronaldo from ManU and they would struggle as would Chelski losing Terry, Lampard, Makelale, and say Drogba.
Under the circumstances unless we have a really bad injury run again we will be challenging for silverware this year, make no mistake about that. This side Wenger has, is far less likely to have player conflict than say ManU, Liverpool or Chelsea. So have faith, trust in Wenger!

Although we've been playing really well lately, I am still wondering if we could get passed the likes of Chelski and Man U when we meet. Remember, we started even better last term whilst Man U suffered the same lowly start without Rooney and C Ronaldo for almost two months. Even though I think we have a bigger squad, the key is to keep them all healthy and fit when bigger tests come. Our midfielders are creating far more chances than those from Chelski and Man U. You see Chelski scored three times against Man City out of three chances. Both Chelski and Man U will get results even though they are not playing well or conceding first. Our game is a bit different. As long as we score early and score first, we are fine. I am happy that RVP has found his scoring touch and can score on his first chance, but Ade should keep improving on his shooting abilities to ensure us not wasting any chance created by our midfielders. We could have gone 4:0 before half time against Rovers, but at the same time could have conceded 2 goals as well. SO, we are fine as long as 1) all key players stay healthy; 2) RVP scoring crucial goals; 3) Ade scoring headers and easy tap-in's; 4) our defence don't leak; 5)referee decisions.

If we avoid injurys we will be fine with our current squad! We still have two world class players in Rosicky and Eduardo to come back! In Wenger I trust.

We can't avoid injuries, it's not possible to go a whole season without injuries...
We are just hoping that those injured at the moment come back from injury before we can get more... It's all down to luck
By the way we have a bigger squad this year than last, Fact: squad players like Flameni (yes he had a great season last year but he was around for 5),Hoyte (Not Arsenal Standard), Hleb (No end product) and Gilberto (What a great player he was, but at 31 the legs are heavier)...Ooops Senderos (a Proper Milan player) have all left but are now replaced by players with talents and expereince (Denilson, Song, Nasri, Vela, a more improved Theo, A fit again and firing V.Persie and of course a 2nd Ade in Bentner and Djourou)...
Apart from Theo none of those guys really play last season and they have all got talent... That's 5 out 8 in without taking into account Diaby and long term injury Rosicky and Edourdo, plus a high profile left/centre back in Sylvestre...
The future is bright

It's NOT Arsenal's game that is the problem, but their attitude. They tend to become easily OVERCONFIDENT and therefore lose concentration in important matches. That's why they lost last season. Not because of Gallas or anyother.
Also they miss too many chances. Yes they won 4-0 but could have won by more. It's not all the time they'll play against teams who won't score so they'll have to learn to outscore also.

Its not the matter of expense. Its a matter of how efficient the players are
