Manager Arsène Wenger heaped praise on strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie, branding them unselfish after a penalty decision in the 4-0 win over Blackburn Rovers.
Although van Persie is the official penalty taker at the club, he chose to let Adebayor take the penalty, which he duly scored.
Buoyed by his goal, Adebayor went on to score a hat-trick to complete the rout to earn Arsenal the full three points.
Wenger said: "I like the fact that van Persie gave him the penalty.
"That is good for the team spirit as he had not scored before today in the league this season. In the end he got a hat-trick and that will give him the needed confidence.
"The primary penalty-taker is van Persie, second is Adebayor. But they have the right to reverse it.
"So this decision is down to van Persie. He gave the ball to Adebayor, who had asked him if he could take it.
"Last week, van Persie scored two, this weekend Adebayor scored as well. I believe this shows that the team has a collective spirit and everybody can score."

THAT WAS NICE OF VP & IT REALLY SHOWS HOW DEDICATED AND LOYAL HE IS TO THE CLUB.I PRAY HE HAS AN INJURY-FREE SEASON FOR THE BEST IN HIM TO BE UNVEILED WHILE SEEING HIM LIFT TROPHIES AS A REWARD.
