Manager Arsène Wenger voiced his frustration with Spanish referee Luis Medina Cantalejo for failing to protect winger Theo Walcott.
The England international was subject to three horrendous tackles from Dynamo Kyiv's left-back and should have been sent-off on each occassion.
Whilst Wenger was also unhappy over the penalty decision that gave Kyiv the lead, he said that his team have to deal with circumstances like this, but was also not happy over the Spaniard's time-keeping.
The Frenchman said: "I wanted to know how we only played three minutes injury time and then during these three minutes we only played one minute of injury time.
"Every referee looks to have a different computer to calculate injury time and I still don't know how it works. He couldn't explain to me; he just told me he felt it was enough.
"Sagna is convinced he [Ognjen Vukojevic] pulled him with his two hands on his shirt and then went down. We have to deal with that; if you get a penalty you get a penalty.
"The referee should have sent the left-back off three times because he tried to destroy Walcott."

Arsenal Totally deserved to win, but yet again the ref was the person who gave the other team a winning glance. when are the referees gonna learn to play !!

i can't believe the calls the ref was making... first sagna obviously had his shirt pulled and didn't make hardly enough contact to warrant an immediate penalty kick on the spot even before booking.
second, what was with the ridiculous assaults on theo walcott? he was taken down like 3 or 4 times atleast two or three warranting a yellow..
not impressed with the spanish refs i've seen lately in the champions league
