Adebayor hopes Gunners are back on track

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor is now hoping that his team are back on track for a successful campaign.

After the defeat to Hull City, the Gunners saw a 4-0 win over FC Porto restore confidence in their season.

However, many are thinking that this could be another false start, after their shock defeat against Fulham earlier in the season.

The Togolese striker said: "I hope we are back on track. Against Porto we showed good character, good personality and we played good football.

"We know that as soon as we put the ball on the ground and play our football, we have a lot of chances to win.

"That is what we did well against Porto. We are very pleased with our performance and hopefully we can do that again on Saturday.

"We are not playing to send a message, we are just playing to enjoy ourselves. We want to go as far as possible in the Champions League.

"We enjoy ourselves a lot on the pitch and we just want to keep on going, keep enjoying ourselves and see where we end up."

It's pretty clear to many fans now that Arsenal are wasteful in front of goal. It seems Arsene Wenger, Adebayor, Van Persie are the only ones who do not see this. I don't think Adebayor/Persie can be depended upon fully. They caused the Fulham, Hull loss by being.... you guessed it WASTEFUL.

When Benitez was rotating, he was descended upon. But the advantage was that many knew they had to fight to retain their place. In Arsenal these guys know their places are guaranteed, hence can afford to misbehave.

If Arsenal lose, it won't be because they didn't play well but because they over-relied upon these two guys.

The gunners can only be back on track if Adebayor and Van Persie take all the chances presented to them. As it is, they seem to need a dozen chance each before they can score one goal. The Porto game is evidence. We should have won by 8 or 9 goals.

Read that AW could be interested in Sebastien Geovinco. I know all transfer rumours shd be treated with a pinch of sugar. he is only 164 cm.
if AW were to sign sign him,i would be staggered.
How would he cope with epl big boys?
