Milan defend Senderos signing

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has said that he is happy with Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos, signed on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.

The Swiss international joins ex-Gunner Mathieu Flamini in moving to Milan, though Flamini's move was a permanent transfer rather than a loan deal.

Senderos however, is also yet to make an appearance for his club, and it is because of this that Galliani says it is impossible for the media to have made their minds up about his loan signing.

Galliani said: "Senderos? I can't understand how you can judge a signing that has never appeared in official competitions, not even for a minute.

"Doing this must be part of the Calcio extravaganza."

Sell Sendros! He can be a liability at times.
