Defender Mikael Silvestre has pledged to stay at Arsenal until they win their next trophy.
The former Manchester United player, who has a wealth of championship-winning experience under his belt, says that communication is key in the team if they are to win the Premiership.
Silvestre said: "Communication is the key. The more you speak, the more you get to learn each other. We are not going to make it if we stay in our corner.
"A lot of communication can help us improve our strong points and most of all our weak points.
"This team have an history together but lack experience, so I'm hopeful I'll be there enough time to help them win titles.
"Hopefully we will win a title. We can never make predictions in October. They didn't lack a lot last season. If we manage to control our games and if we stop conceding the first goal it will be easier."

I think silvestre is a valuable signing replacin him for both senderos and troare (who both went out on loan to gain experience) this season is vital for us. he has the experience, the height in our defence and can play as a left back if gael is injured. can't get any better with him our squad. On about the goal conceded the other day, he is not to blame at all, it was denilson and song's fault, and overall mikael had a great game. assist and coming back from injury really look the part. hopefully he can get better and add that experience.

Sylvestre was NOT at fault for the goal. Denilson and Song between them couldnt be bothered to track runners. Sylvestre was quality throughout and it should be between Toure and Gallas as to who partners Sylvestre.

Yeah, but it looked to me like he was the one at fault for the first goal.
