Adebayor aiming to win the Champions League

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor has said that the next step for him and his team mates, after the 5-2 demolition of Fenerbahce, is to actually win the competition.

The Gunners have been close to domestic and European greatness before, but their challenges have fallen away at the final hurdle.

The Togolese international is aiming to go further than last season and insists that him and his team mates are aiming for that.

Adebayor said: "What we did last season is behind us now. We want to achieve something better than that.

"If you want to go further that really means to win it. Once you go past the quarter-final you only have the semi-final and Final so you have a lot of chance to win it.

"We have not lost a lot of players. We have only lost Hleb and Flamini but we have changed them. Samir Nasri and Denilson have come in and are both playing good football."

Of course manu is right the only thing we havent won is the CL I would really like if we could win it but we wont with a defence like the one we have right now. Prof pliz do something!!!!! in january, Buy a DEFENDER Pliz!!!!!!

Thats the spirit Ade, we need that mentality! We are the best, we deserve the best! Being the Kings of Europe is not an impossible task for the Gunners! We have to win this, its about time! Our name is destined to be on that trophy!
