After last night's efficient 2-0 win over West Ham, manager Arsène Wenger says that to have not won would have been a wasted opportunity to get closer to the top teams.
The Gunners are still in 4th place behind Liverpool, Chelsea and Hull City and have yet to play any of the title challengers.
Wenger said: "It was a big win for us. To come out of it with a frustrating 0-0 would have felt like a wasted opportunity to get closer to the top.
"We knew before the game we could not drop points. West Ham can also feel frustrated because they defended well and gave everything."

can anyone explain to me why the arrogant bendtner can fit the bill of the fab young system that will threaten to take the premier league by leaps and goals? i am 101% Gunner. but his arrogance and inability takes chances of Ramsey and com. that gum chewing thing reminds of some hated team manager.
