Midfielder Abou Diaby says that he is glad to be back from injury, and is now working hard to have a prolonged run in the first-team.
Diaby has turned in some impressive performances when selected but there have also been times when his progress has been hampered by injury.
But it is due to his time on the sidelines that Diaby says has made him a stronger player.
He said: "It was hard but I regard it as part of my evolution if you like.
"I stayed positive and kept doing things right, like eating the right food and living the right way.
"Hopefully the problems are now behind me.
"Two people who really helped me a lot were my mother Aissatou and my team mate Gaël Clichy.
"They both told me I would come though it and that is what I did."
