Fabregas: We beat United for Wenger

Midfielder Francesc Fabregas admits that the team gave their all in the match against Manchester United because of the criticism they received in public.
The Spaniard also revealed that the team wanted to beat United for manager Arsène Wenger, who last week was the subject of strong criticism from fans and press alike.
Fabregas said: "We did it for the manager, because he has believed a lot in us.
"Without him, probably apart from William Gallas and Mikel Silvestre, all the rest of us may never have had the chance to play football. We owe him a lot and have to show that on the pitch.
"We definitely knew there would be some talk about whether Arsenal were capable of winning anything if we had lost this match.
"Sometimes we lose playing the same way and everyone says we are not good.
"Sometimes you are more fortunate in front of goal and sometimes you are not. This is football, this is life.
"With losers, their heads go down. We have shown we have character. We played against a great team and won under a lot of pressure. So we are happy."

yes its for arsene wenger cos arsenal is nothing without him and he knows arsenal and arsenal knows him.so we are one.gunners till end time

Why should he? The fans never trusted the team. Everybody said they would lose, the fans wanted Wenger out. So tell me why should they play for the fans? The only person that really trusted and motivated him and the others, was Arsene Wenger. So they won it for Arsene, and Arsene only.
