Wenger to decide on January transfer activity

Manager Arsène Wenger has admitted that he is still undecided on whether to bring in additional recruitments in the January transfer window.

Arsenal fans are hoping that the Frenchman will acknowledge the lack of depth and experience in the squad and buy a defensive midfielder at the least.

But Wenger says that he will make a final assessment in December, before deciding in January.

He said: "It's far from decided.

"We will make a check at the end of December and we will see.

"We have had many players out and showed we have a great squad that can win the big games."

everybody except the gaffer seems to know the squad is grossly inadequate. wenger shld nt wait for arevolt to fortify the squad

Please Mr. Wenger balance it's not good to force all you know and believe. Compromise and see what happens. Even we fans have a stake. Can you make it alone without fans? One day you will remember my advice if not something will not be ok. Please do something, ther is no way you can have youth alone and ignore the fact that mature players are needed. What if you balance let's say six players above 25 years and then five under 24 years. or anyhow you want it. My suggestion is about two mature players in all position. this can make a serious impact on the performance of the team based on you normally choose talented players. You have really done well but try to balance a bit and see. Thanks for the good work you are doing at Emirates. Long prosperity

i am getting tired of mr.wenger.i wish he would for once come out of his world....jus for once and we will win champions league and premiership title.the paptience we have showed him,i dont think we should expect any less

monsieur wenger...please can you see that this lack of getting reinforcement in january has caused us the league title many times....please strengthened teh team even on loan players but experienced

I would support his decision either way. I think we do lack strength between the midfield and defence, but as we tend to be playing Fabregas and Denilson in a 442 at the moment, and it's working, I could see why he might not want to. Having said that it's not exactly working when it comes to the Stokes of this world.

We have the players that can win the big games but lack players for the rough ones. In addition to the DM, depth on the wing should be addressed. Lets face it, if either Nasri or Theo is injured there's no wide threat in the squad. Diaby and Denilson are not answers on the wing.

Arsene must sign a World class centre-half + a world class defensive mid-fielder, then the team would be complete
