Striker Robin van Persie has said that Arsenal are still in the title race and intend on staying in it after their 2-1 defeat of Manchester United.
The Dutch international acknowledged that his team had problems with the likes of Stoke City, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur, but will always endeavour to play good football.
van Persie said: "We continue to play football as we always do.
"These are three very important points. If you look at how we played, it is a shame that it is against the likes of Stoke and Fulham that we have problems with.
"It is difficult to explain, but I think we have made a clear statement that we will be in the fight for the title."

arsenal's style of play is to play the ball and not the player. clubs like fulham, bolton, stoke, birmingham and everton all think that if they just kick the arsenal players instead of the ball then they will succeed. look at the football arsenal play and tell me that they are not supremely talented, arsenal play real, talented and skillful football rather than kicking the opposition... arsenal have every right and ability to still pulll through and take the title!
