Wenger on Fabregas and Wilshere

After the 3-0 demolition of Wigan Athletic last night, many are comparing the performances of Jack Wilshere to that of one Francesc Fabregas.

But manager Arsène Wenger has said that the two are not similar and are actually quite different in style.

Wenger said: "They are a different type of player because Jack is more a dribbler and Cesc is more of a passer.

"Jack is more a change-of-direction type of guy and Cesc is the quick vision. You can imagine the two of them together playing very good football.

"I think Jack has the same potential as Cesc and, like him, he has the character.

"He isn't frightened of going into the challenge, he likes the physical game and is not fazed by anything; he takes the ball no matter where he is and no matter who he plays against - it is natural for him.

"Of course I think they can compliment each other, because Jack can play on the flanks or behind the striker. In fact I think he can play anywhere across midfield and up front."

Well i feel wenger is right but the kid needs more experience.And wilshere has a different playing skill to fabregas. But hes a future gunner. Watch out for him.....

It is already known that Arsenal produce the best talent in the world, thanx to the Prof himself. So those who think otherwise are not in this world and should back off.. wilshere?? Fabulous!! Infact he should play against Villa.

if wilshere is a replacement for fab4 what then would u say about ramzy i think aron's the perfect replacement while wilshere's more of a hleb.
they are great guys tho

i think wilshere will be an ideal replacement for Cesc only that he needs more playing time and experience.i love the way the guy plays.look at the pass he gave to Simpson.he is just fantastic.

Not that I disagree with Wenger, but let's not look too much into what Arsense says about his players. He is going to always compliment and encourage his players.

u see Mr.wenger is planing to play cesc with wilshire,he is tolking for the future,with these words now, we should stop thinking that cesc with leav us.he will be at arsenal at least 5 or 6 more seasen
