Wenger closes off discussion about captaincy

Manager Arsène Wenger has called on the media to respect the team's privacy and said that the issue regarding the nomination of Francesc Fabregas as the new club captain is now a closed matter.
Wenger also confirmed that former captain William Gallas still had a future at the club, and the Frenchman has been included in the squad for the match against Dynamo Kyiv.
Wenger said: "Gallas will play against Kyiv but he will not captain the team, it will be Fabregas.
"This is a permanent thing. But I don't think I especially have to explain why.
"I have given you information but I do not have to explain to you why I make these decisions.
"This subject is now closed. You have to respect a little bit of the team's privacy."
