Manager Arsène Wenger has praised defender William Gallas and his young squad after an efficient performance against Dynamo Kyiv saw the club qualify for the next round of the Champions League.
Of Gallas, Wenger said: "I believe his focus was great. He wanted to do well and you could see he was completely committed in the game.
"Overall, I feel he did well. The crowd responded well. Somewhere, they acknowledge that he was a committed captain and I was very happy that the crowd reacted in this way to him.
"Aaron Ramsey worked very hard and Carlos Vela looked good during his hour and he worked very hard.
"Afterwards he did drop a bit physically because he is not used to playing at that level. Jack Wilshere, when he came on, did extremely well. He has big composure on the ball and he doesn't look fazed at all and he has done very well."

Aaron Ramsey was asleep the entire match.
The cross from Vela he could of scored but he just stood there till the ball was right in front of him.I'm doubting Ramsey!

I am just wondering if Gallas had actually apologized to Arsenal dressing room ….because if not , Arsene makes a fool of himself …

Jack Wilshere came on and adds to the creativity and danger of the attacking mid-field. In the process he takes the pressure of Fabregas who is often faced with two man markers. The whole team seemed to lift and some great passing moves occurred
