Midfielder Denilson has said that the team's qualification for the next round of the Champions League has eased the doubts hovering around the squad at the moment.
With progress to the knockout stages guaranteed, the Gunners can afford to rest an injury-ravaged squad for the final group match against Porto.
Denilson said: "It was very important [to beat Kyiv]. It's a victory that gives us peace of mind for the next match.
"We had difficult moments last week, losing the match, but now we've got a victory and that's all that matters.
"For sure it has been a complicated week, but we were very patient and the boss helped us a lot by talking to us about it.
"This gave us confidence and I think the squad is prepared. We are all conscious that we now have to improve in the Premier League."
