Wenger: We will field a strong side against Plymouth

Manager Arsène Wenger has promised to field a strong side against Plymouth Argyle in the Gunners' third round clash with them.
Many are assuming that the Gunners will field a weakened side against the Championship side at the Emirates Stadium but Wenger is having other thoughts.
Wenger said: "We will take them very seriously.
"They are in the Championship which has got, in the last three or four years, closer to the Premier League.
"When I saw Wolverhampton Wanderers against Birmingham City you could see they are good teams [in the league].
"People have said that we should not draw the game because getting to Plymouth is impossible!"

Arsene, you are right to think positively about Plymouth,they are a better away side than home,games in which Plymouth have played away speak for themselves ,they are a well organised side and Sturrock is a canny manager.

I know Mr Wenger's comments are said in jest, but, still, to suggest that Plymouth is an impossible place to get to is absurd! Maybe for clubs like Carlisle, Hartlepool and Darlington it isn't so easy, but for Arsenal, they'd just hop on the private jet to Plymouth Airport and they'd be there in under an hour!

good option, we should field a relatively stronger team in FA cup and and sometimes in carling cup and always have first team players on the bench in case anything goes wrong and we make changes too late sometimes which is not good by half time a player that is not into a game should be pulled out in the first 10minutes of the second half. i want us to win the carling cup this time, the FA, the champions league and the premiership, it is possible am not a wonder boy. i believe we have the team to do that and we will . amen.
