Manager Arsène Wenger has said that today's match against Aston Villa is a good opportunity for the Gunners to make up ground in the league table.
The North London club are currently in 5th place, behind the Villains but only by 3 points. A good win today by 3 goals will see Arsenal overtake them by goal difference.
The Gunners have a good record at Villa Park. They are unbeaten in nine top-flight matches, and are bidding for a third win on the bounce at the West Midlands venue.
Wenger said: "Villa are mathematically in there but if you asked me if they are going to win the title I would say no because they are other teams who to me look better equipped.
"For a place in the top four, they are a threat.
"We are three points behind and have a good opportunity to come back on them. It is a very important game for us."
