Silvestre out for three weeks, Wenger to look at recruits

Manager Arsène Wenger has revealed that defender Mikael Silvestre would be out for three weeks, after suffering a thigh injury during the match against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup.

The Frenchman also revealed that he would be looking at bringing in possible recruits, after assessing the squad's injury list.

Wenger said: "It is a thigh problem. He will be out for three weeks, 21 days.

"I have to look at it but at the moment with the injuries we are a little bit short everywhere.

"I hope Kolo will not be out for a very long time because he has an inflamed groin.

"On the left-hand side we are a bit short but Gaël Clichy should be back for next week."

I knw alot of Gunners trust & b'live the prof. pls dont give a reason to think otherwise. The prof it appears has lost touch with the reality of modern world of football. Plus a selfish board, arsenal has b'com a sorry sight this season. Are we really serious we want to play in the UEFA CL next season? Pls buy players for us & stop whining abt global financial crises or better still, let serious investors buy over the club & increase our financial strength.

Mr. AW. please don't continue to play around our minds. It is going too far. Buy players who can play and win or say there is no money then we will be able to pray for our team.

The glory of Arsenal is fading away simply because of you who is too diplomatic.I made myself clear that we are hutting and worried about the future of our team we loved for so long. Please redeem the pride of our Arsenal. May God intervene and convince you that this current team is going no where unless you strengthen it by buying able and capable players who can grow the business and allow us fans to rejoice once more. Thanks for listening.

He won't be bringing any further recruits. It will be maximum 1 signing and that will be Cescs replacement.
