Adebayor confident of title win

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor says that him and his team mate have every chance of winning the Premiership title, even whilst languishing in fifth place and having lost five games already this season.

The Togolese international was speaking after the win over Hull City.

Adebayor said: "Why can't we win the title?

"If we keep going and keep winning games, let's see where we are at the end of the season.

"At the moment we are six points behind Manchester United, but at one stage last season we were 10 points ahead of them and they still went on to win the Premier League, so it's not over yet."

Adebayor is right. Arsenal can not win anything with him. His poor ability to score was probably the main reason for Arsenal to fail winning a trophy last season. The best thing for Arsenal was to sell him months ago. Now is too late. Big clubs know it would be a waste of money.

A team that plays with Emanuel Eboue in it will never win anything.

Arsenal winning the title will depend heavily on our opponents slipping up and us winning every game and scoring a lot of goals , which adebayor has`nt necessarily helped out with.

i think arsenal have te quality to win the race but just depend on your fast the grown with their maturity!right now Ade is the second name that comes in mind in arsenal after fabregas but nowadays he is too doll in front of goals and i beleive since he started scoring and as arsene has confirmed it that he is working on it then let just hail that they do wat we are expecting from them.maybe the will win both premier league and champions league.........WHO KNOWS

If he started scoring more consistently & stopped missing open goals then maybe we could win. Even better if we got a proper striker & Adebayor could take his turn on the bench. I think Arsenal are taking us for fools and pretending they want to sign more players but are offering such ridiculous fees that the deals fall through then they can tell us they 'tried'.

To dazzy90. I want to belive u ar joking there. We all know that after Fabrigas, Adebayor is the next big name we have in our squad so why won't he be popular? Ade's value is even much higher than V.Persie's. Check your facts.

Adebayor is 100% correct....arsenal can still win the title if he consistently scores every week instead of missing chances in front of goal regularly. They would have won last year if he had put away goals any average player could score. He is without a doubt full of talent, yet seems to just have a habit of missing sitters. Maybe he just doesnt have much luck. Rather than look at new signings, the club need to hire a specialits forward coach who can work with Abedayor at training day in day out so he can be direct with his play, rather than side step, shimy and be hesistant. Just ram the ball in the back of the net instead of playing Wengerball!!

Cant agree with him more the problem is Football has moved on and everybody is still trying to compare Todays Arsenal with the Arsenal of Yesterday such as Berkamp,Henry and the players of the Unbeaten year.

Im afraid it is time to move on ...We can still win the title !!
