There were two main talking points during the match against local rivals Tottenham Hotspur, both of which involved Ivory Coast international Emmanuel Eboue.
Eboue had a goal disallowed and was also sent off for two bookable offences.
Manager Arsène Wenger said: "The referee has seen a push from Emmanuel Eboue but in fact it was Jonathan Woodgate who pushed him as well and then stumbled over Emmanuel Adebayor and falls down.
"If you see it again you see that it's nothing. It is not acceptable really it is not serious. I believe the person closest to the ball was the referee.
"He was in the best position and did not judge the push from Eboue he judged the fact that Woodgate fell down.
"I believe that the first yellow card was very harsh. You have players who make 15 fouls in the game but don't get a yellow card. What he did was clumsy but the first yellow card was very hard.
"The second one, I haven't seen. They have told me that he has retaliated, if he has retaliated then he deserves a yellow and a red card. It doesn't matter who saw it. If someone saw it for real then he deserves to be sent off.
"We deal with our problems internally. The newspapers never help us to sort out problems out. If he has retaliated today then we'll see.
"I want to first see it before I assess the situation. It was impossible to see what happened because the ball had gone."

STOP DEFENDING HIM!! We,Arsenal fans, have enough of his antics. We really do not understand why Mr Wenger sold David Bentley and kept him in the first place.Obviously,DB is many times better and more versatile than him. How could a top team like Arsenal has a player that do not know how to use his left leg and was a total handicapped player playing on the left flank. He is such a hypocrite,he kicked Modric and consoled him after the latter recieved a yellow card.I was totally disgusted when i saw the replay of what he had done. He deserved to be booed during the Wigan match,at one time i thought he was a Wigan player wearing an Arsenal jersey. How could a top team like Arsenal has a right midfielder who scored only 2 goals in his 100 plus games for the team,i am sure our ex-player Ray Parlour did better than him and Ray was known for his defending as a midfielder. PLEASE SELL EBOUE ASAP!

Accepted that Eboue's goal was wrongfully disallowed, but both 1st & 2nd yellow cards he picked were silly. The scenerio for the 1st yellow card had Sagna fouling a Tottenham player which was duly pardoned but Spurs will have the kick. Instead of Eboue marking, he decides to pick some argument with the ref. Knowing he had been cautioned,a matured player who knows his onions would be very careful thruogh remaining minutes of the game. But he unnecessarily retaliated on Modric's fare challenge. Players like Eboue will continue to sabotage the efforts of the likes of Van Persie & Almunia, if Wenger didn't act fast.

Yes, Wenger the ball was gone he stopped it, and after that he did not show the second yellow card directly he waited for a long time even Eboue was already gone and he called him back imagine.
That is no sense there was nothing there.......
