Eduardo: Best day of my life

Striker Eduardo da Silva has described the moment he scored against Cardiff City as the "best day of my life".

The Brazilian made his comeback from a career-threatening injury by scoring two goals to ensure progression into the next round of the FA Cup.

Eduardo added: ''It was a special moment to score, very emotional.

"I celebrated by kissing my wedding ring - because my wife and daughter and family supported me right through this.''

But the Croatian international had to be withdrawn from the game as he experienced some tightness in his hamstring.

Ihope arsenal will atleast do something b'se eduado plays a talented game like thierry henry and it will indeed bring arsenal's position to third which might atleast be better than the current position.

Eduardo, WELCOME BACK!!! You are truly blessed. Your first goal at the emirates since you went out injured brought a tear to my eye. You ended up scoring 2 on the night, may they be the first 2 of many more to come in what i pray turns out to be a long and rewarding career for you. Remain blessed.

I cold go on and on about how good he is....

A MASSIVE congratulations and thank you to the brilliant Eduardo, welcome back my friend. It feels like you are the tonic to kick start our season.

And a note on Carlos Vela who was outstanding last night, I have been campaigning for him to be in the team for months now. He was so good in the Carling Cup but no, for some reason Wenger prefers the useless, petulant waste of space that is Eboue.

Wenger please give him a chance. He always looked dangerous and was at his best running at defenders - this is exactly what we’ve needed!

NO MORE EBOUE. Please.
