Midfielder Abou Diaby is out injured and will not be available for selection this weekend.
The Frenchman gained praise for his performances against Italian side Roma.
Manager Arsène Wenger said: "The main question mark is about Diaby.
"He is certainly short [for Saturday] and we will assess him on Friday morning.
"I rushed Diaby back a little bit because he had only one or two days with the team training and I felt on the day we needed him in central midfield against Roma.
"I rushed him a bit and maybe it was a bit early for him. But the good side of it is that there doesn't seem to be any major damage so, if not for Saturday, he will be available for Tuesday [against West Brom].

There is nothing we can do if someone is injured, the thing is to wait until he gets well that that is the point anywhere the problem is why our player are getting injured everytime and for so long? especially strikers, from that I would like to say that they have to jump some of the tacles in front of them unless it comes from behind. and it seems to me that this year is not ours.

Well.. Actually he seems to be available right now. He's in the squad for tomorrow, since we only made one change from tuesday's game. And that is Arshavin for Fran

i may not be an expert, but if so many of our players are getting injured so many times for such a long time. could the medical staff and i don't know... the fitness staff do something about it better? We are the only team of this size and standard that had an injury list of this size.

Wenger's habit of buying promising players that are prone to injuries is really beginning to frustrate me. I mean think about it .. diaby , silvestre, RVP, Reyes, Rosicky, Kanu, Ljunberg and to an extent Nasri damm these while good are always sidelined cos of injuries and miss at least a quarter or more of the season. And the worse thing is no one on the bench seem to be able to replace them effectively. Does he really think Gunners have a superb physio department that can miraculously restore their injuries in a puff????
