Sometimes you get tired of saying the same old thing, so that's why I didn't do a match preview for the Fulham game. That's also why I didn't say anything after the Fulham game. I started to, but words - for once - failed me! It's clear now that something is very wrong at Arsenal. Well, either that, or it's simply a case that the squad has been stretched too far and hit a poor run of form combined with some unfortunate luck in front of goal. Certainly, this month could see history being made on Arsenal.com, for the first time ever maybe nobody will win the Player of the Month award.
I'd give it to Eduardo myself, his two goals in an hour of football against Cardiff showed the qualities that the first team have missed in his absence. And continue to miss. But I could sit here blowing sunshine all day, a picture speaks a thousand words, doesn't it? Well, have a look at this one:

A perfect demonstration of how bad things are getting this season, and to my mind the perfect illustration of the chasm between board and supporters. Who, in their right mind mind is going to want to spend £43 on sacrificing their Sunday lie in to watch a very average team play Burnley? And before you start, I am going. I'm just not paying that sort of money. I expect to see a few empty seats around me...
But I'm getting ahead of things. Tonight, we have an opportunity to put our recent home frustrations behind us with a visit to West Bromwich Albion. I seem to recall our last visit to the Hawthorns ended in defeat, our old friend Kanu scoring one of the opposition goals, so forgive me for not getting too carried away. As pointed out elsewhere it is a massive chance to exert a little bit of pressure on Aston Villa, a team that could have really ended our hopes of finishing fourth by now. They play Manchester City tomorrow night.
Bearing these comments in mind, it seems unlikely that Andrey Arshavin will start his second game in 4 days, with the player himself talking about a feeling of having "spat" his lungs out near half-time on Saturday. Nevertheless, having softened the Baggies up with an hour of ineffectual running about from my favourite Ivorian, he could have some impact from the bench tonight.
One player who, thankfuully for us, won't be impacting things tonight is Jay Simpson. I like this guy, I thought his Carling Cup displays were excellent, as were many, but he has shown pace, strength skill, awareness, a good touch and finishing ability in his appearances this season- I've seen a bit of him for West Brom. Hopefully this is one young man who can go on and have a big future with us. The signing of a long-term deal with the club earlier this season is no guarantee of anything, but I like to think it shows that he is a highly rated individual who is not just going to be farmed out to Shitsville FC.
The gaffer has been talking about how Manchester United don't dominate games like Arsenal. I think we'd all like to talk to the manager about how we don't score goals like Manchester United. I wonder why he comes out with things like this, it may be talking his team up, but it suggests that quite clearly we don't make the best use of the football when we have it for so long and find it so difficult to score goals.
Please God, let it change tonight!

My my, you are angry in your latest article.
Is Missus tired every nightand unwilling? Jokes aside, its frustrating time for all our fans but you've got a responsibility to cheer us up.
And I find solace in Ashavin. Marvelous player we've got on our hands. Quick footed and shooting on sight, he will bring us something different to us than we had previously. In fact, I can see us beating Manure, Pool and Chelski in the return games. I'll love to beat again Chelski and Manure because of a) To silence Petra Czeck and Terry and b)To cement our ability to beat Manure by doing it again.
In absence of something

Enjoyed the match against WBA yesterday . I was in the staduim and stopped in the hallway leading to the smethwick stand to tie my shoe laces when the first goal was scored in 4 mins :( . But i was lucky to see the 3rd goal. Good finish by Bendtner. Arshavin was terribily unlucky , could have easily bagged one tonight. The sad part tho , was that Arsene Wenger did not celebrate even one of the 3 goals which were scored. When I looked at the dug-out , he was just sitting there chatting to someone (pat rice i guess). We started to chant wengers name at around 70 min in the 2nd half ( just to cheer him up ) and then the players went back to playing in the same sloppy manner that has given us 4 0-0's. So we stopped and started to cheer for the players again ! .... Hehe good game tho ... had great fun ! AND WE WON !!! YAHOOO!!!
