Striker Theo Walcott has heaped praise on defender William Gallas, saying that the Frenchman is professional enough to put aside differences and win games.
Gallas was stripped of the captaincy but has maintained his professionalism, and scored the winning goal in the 2-1 win over Hull City in the FA Cup.
Walcott said: "William has put his head down and worked really hard.
"He is still talking to all the lads and is probably playing the best football I have ever seen him play.
"In training he always wants to win. He is a brilliant character to be around - you need those in the dressing room."
