Defender Mikael Silvestre has declared himself fit and ready to help Arsenal challenge for remaining honours in the final two months of the season.
The Frenchman has been injured for a prolonged period and has now only recovered from his injuries.
Silvestre said: "It was very good to be back. There have been so many big games and the team is doing well so you want to enjoy that as much as you can and be involved. I am glad of our progress and hopefully I can join in now.
"It has been the second injury for me. It was the same leg, my left leg, but this time it wasn't the muscle, it was the tendon, so that takes much longer to recover.
"You have to make sure it is completely healed before you can go back in the team. That's why it was so long this time."

errr...whateva silvestra, you were only bought to make up the numbers mate, I sincerely hope we have NO reason to use you as it would mean that a decent plauyer has picked up an injury... but thanks, yeah...

Good for him, but who will you sacrifice for him? Toure, Gallas and Djourju have done very well thoroughout the season, but the same can't be said for Silvestre, even before his injury.
