Manager Arsène Wenger has revealed that Manchester City made an approach for former Arsenal captain Thierry Henry last summer.
The French striker had already moved to Barcelona when City made their approach, an approach which was turned down.
Henry's future at Camp Nou has been uncertain since he joined them from Arsenal in 2007, however of late his form has improved and he looks likely to remain at Barcelona.
Wenger said: "I knew Man City were interested in getting him but he rightly decided to stay at Barcelona.
"What will he do next season? I'm not sure.
"I'm not convinced he wants to come back to England but he's free to decide what he wants."

Henry has nothing to prove in English football, he will stay at Barca til retirement. Although, the Bundesliga would be new territory for him!
