Wenger: We have to take our chances

Manager Arsène Wenger says that his side have to learn to take their chances in any match.

Although many are blaming the defence for the weekend's loss to Chelsea, Wenger says that the attacking players have to shoulder some of the blame for missing their chances in front of goal.

Arsenal succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea that saw them knocked out of the FA Cup.

Wenger said: "We have watched the game again and seen the chances we had.

"It is true that we can defend better but we could have as well scored more goals.

"We had a few opportunities on crosses that we didn't take well but it was a very tight game where both teams went for it.

"In the end, it's true, that they won the game on a misunderstanding between our central defence and the goalkeeper.

"We have to accept that, deal with it and not repeat it - we have many big games coming up and we feel we can win them."
