Playmaker Andrey Arshavin has admitted that his biggest regret from last night's game is that his side did not manage to take all three points, despite scoring four goals at Anfield.
The Gunners were leading 4-3 going into injury time but allowed Liverpool to equalise and almost lost it at the death.
However, after being 2-1 down ten minutes into the second half, perhaps 4-4 was a fair result and it extended Arsenal's unbeaten run in the league to 19 games.
Arshavin, who scored all four goals for Arsenal, said: "I had only scored a hat-trick twice in my career.
"I feel good, but also disappointed because we did not get the victory.
"Both teams wanted to win. What can I say? It was unbelievable football, but that is England for you.
"The big regret we have is that 10 minutes into the second half we were 2-1 down, but not from something created by Liverpool - it was from balls we did not clear properly from the back.
"Now we want to continue our unbeaten run in the Premier League and also qualify in the Champions League."

Arshavin is an incredible football star. After scoring four goals, he isn't using his bragging rights! Very humble, that's good.
But he's spot on about our defence, nothing was wrong with the talking or goal keeping, the only problem our defence had was clearing effectively.
Above all, the peformance from Arsenal was superb!

It was a great game! I have never been Arsenal's fun before Arshavin joined the team. Now I try to watch every Arsenal's match.
But yesterday Liverpool was stronger. If Arshavin was not so fantastically effcient, Liverpool would have won (although there were two scores of Arsenal from off-side).
I wish other Arsenal players give more passes to Arshavin. It seems that the other players pass him the ball only if there are no other ways to continue the attack. That is a pity. Maybe I am wrong but it seems that the other players do not trust Arshavin yet.
I hope Arsenal and Arshavin will be much more powerful in te next season. There are many good and young players there. There is a great potential that should be realized on the football fields.
