Wenger not bored of Arshavin's goals

Playmaker Andrey Arshavin's four goals against Liverpool has made for good entertainment this week for manager Arsène Wenger, who has admitted that he has not tired of watching them over and over again.

Arshavin scored a second half hat-trick to add to his solitary goal in the first half to ensure that the Gunners did not lose against a determined and well-organised Liverpool side at Anfield.

Wenger said: "I watched them [the goals] sometimes even when I did not want to watch them because I have seen them so much on television.

"I watched his four goals and of course one looks better than the others ones.

"It is special finishing because two are outstanding shots from outside the box, one is the result of a good combination inside the box and one is the result of a bad clearance from Aurelio that he took advantage of.

"Overall I believe that even if we were disappointed by the result we were not disappointed by the performance. Liverpool played very well too, it was a frenetic, entertaining game which is a credit to the Premier League."

if i were wenger i'd surely worship yuri morozov, the coach who practically made a quality player from andrei, for i still can recall his first home goal for zenit that was witnessed by saint petersburg audience nearly 8 years ago..throughout that season the majority of our fans grew realizing the boy'd turned out to be something special;and but for russian shockingly corrupt referees who'd shifted zenit down to third place in the final round, andrei would've partaken in the champions league exhibition by next autumn of 2002 awready, who knows!)anyways, upon my word that squad was even stronger than the one which acquired uefa cup a year ago, believe it or not)
rest in peace yuri andreevich,in spite the doggone gazprom tycoons your ripened fruits've been enjoyed,at last..

It's such a delight to know that fashion-crazy Andrey Arshavin is pretty much than just a pretty face and fine postcard. That he can be a serial thriller on the centrestage of premiership has been confirmed with his three thrilling goals against a free-scoring side such as Benitez's Liverpool. Hope he keeps banging in the goals as prettily as he takes his obsession for coiffure and hairdo! And may his recent success-run never get to his head such that he will start playing god with a feet of clay to spite the man who risked all to put him in the frenetic rhythm of the one-of-a-kind,second-to-none English premiership, the very best the world,to Sir Wenger, with love!
