Got mobile? Take us with you!

Ever been in a situation where you have a long commute and you need to get your daily doage of Arsenal news? But you have to put up with annoying 3G speeds, crappy Edge network connections and you're tired of visiting websites not optimised for your mobile device (Apple iPhone / iPod Touch, Android, BlackBerry or a Nokia smartphone)?

We might have the answer for you. We've recently launched a mobile version of the website, called Mini Arsenal Mania, located at m.arsenal-mania.com.

The mini version of the site brings all the content that makes us one of the most read Arsenal fan sites on the Web, starting with our articles and news.

You'll also have access to up-to-date league tables, so you can keep tabs on how secure we are in the race for a Champions League position, or if it's still mathematically possible to snatch the title away from United!

For the statophiles amongst you, we also have statistics and details of every fixture - percentage of possession, shots on target, bookings - Arsenal have played this season.

To add to all of that, we've also included our player profiles, with descriptions of every first team member where possible and a brief section on their statistics for this season. Now you can find out how many goals Andrey Arshavin has already scored this season despite only joining in January.

How do you access this on your mobile device? Simply go to Arsenal Mania as normal - type in arsenal-mania.com - and our software will automatically detect if you're trying to access the site from a mobile device.

If you are, it will automatically serve you the mini version of the site, whilst if you were coming from a personal computer, you will get the full version of the website. This will work for any URL you have stored as a bookmark from Arsenal Mania, so you don't have to go and update all of those as well - we've made it as easy as possible for you to get to our content!

I'd rather prefer it if you didn't make a mobile version of the site. I was looking at arsenal-mania all the time on my cell phone before, but I was mainly using it to see the forums and you can't do that anymore. Since the Forum is the main part of this website, and sites like redcafe's forums can still be accessed through the cellphone, why not AM?

Thanks for this mobile app. I think its good.

Why not make an iPhone/iPod app for arsenal-mania, that would be great.

Try to get rid of the JavaScript code in the mobile version. Mobiles typically have slow connections and small caches. On the iPhone, none of your JavaScript would be cached and will result in slow page load times.

Otherwise, the site looks awesome. Especially the TV coverage section.
