Clichy out for the rest of the season

Defender Gaël Clichy will miss the rest of the season after suffering a back problem from April.

Manager Arsène Wenger said: "It is finished [for Gaël.

"We would have put a little pressure on the recovery period had we gone to the Champions League Final. But now we will not take a gamble."

But the Frenchman also confirmed that there were no new injuries for this Sunday's match with Chelsea.

Wenger added: "We have nobody really injured from Tuesday night.

"Arshavin has some flu today so we sent him back home. But I believe he will be OK. So it will be the squad from Tuesday with Arshavin available."

why is it always our best players that get injured?! lol (or unavailable in Arshavin's case)
