Manager Arsène Wenger has said that there was an improvement in his team's performance today as they dominated in a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.
The Arsenal team could not score a winning goal despite being the dominant team in the match. The Frenchman says that his team were more committed today as they were playing without any pressure.
In the end, United were playing for the draw that was needed to win the Premiership at Old Trafford, and could not draw on a single shot on target at the Arsenal goal.
Wenger said: "I believe we played with a lot of heart and desire.
"When we played in the Champions League I think we were inhibited a bit by the occasion - it was too big perhaps - and in the second leg we had no chance to play the game.
"Today we showed we have the quality. We played a lot of authority on the pitch.
"Man United like to play counter-attack and I felt we were much sharper on winning the ball back but have the regret that we couldn't score the goal that would have livened the game up - it would have forced them to come out. In the last 20 minutes they made a change to play for a 0-0.
"At the moment the team doesn't get the credit it deserves and it is down to us to show the same consistency. It is not a victory today but it was very important for our pride."

Bullshit. There is no improvement. It just that United United play half of what they do before.

Mr. Wenger. Even though you came out in a 4-3-3 formation, it seemed like the same old 4-2-3-1 in disguise, with the exception of Arshavin and Nasri on the flanks. Diabi and Denilson just played better. As a word of advice, if you plan to play this new formation next year, please have your players practice turning with the play near the edges of the opponent's box. They just kept dropping the ball back -- never putting the defense under pressure. RVP was the only expection. Plus, there needs to be better running through the middle by the lone striker and the off-ball winger. In the second half, there were many times when the outside midfielders had no options except for a lt/rt back over-lap. That was too predictable in the 2H. Over-all, Arsenal Los Angeles was happy that the team showed-up.

Improvement my ass!! What we saw was the same old Arsenal of this season...inconsistent as ever. For all the domination we couldn't score a goal, until we can turn this domination into match winning for every game, i am afraid we will have very little chance at the title next season. AW will now feel since we were able to dominate the game at old trafford there will be no need for changes, but he will be wrong if he does not strengthen the defense, midfield and attack. Improvment my ass.

lol...we've lost and draw the previous games.. i really cant see the improvement and the quality..if he wants to show quality..enough of this young player policy and get us a strong centre half and a commanding DM!!!
