Defensive midfielder Emmanuel Eboue has admitted that he might consider leaving Arsenal due to the lack of first-team opportunities.
The Ivory Coast international has enjoyed a love-hate relationship with Arsenal fans but is seemingly a favourite with manager Arsène Wenger.
But Eboue may finally be on his way out of the club, saying: "It would be hard [to leave] but I think it would be harder to experience another season like this one.
"In any case, if I leave Arsenal it would be for another league because it is out of the question that I develop elsewhere in England."

Eboue is getting tired and losing it fast. i do not like his unnecessary tackles and fouls that invite booking. It shows he is losing it as we all can see in his recent plays. wenger has been too tolerant of him. Kanu was better when wenger started denying him of first team play. he may not even have a place in ivory coast if that country has a better replacement.he has had his hey days. At leaste no one can cheat nature. The real problem is Adebayo. He misses too many chances. He is not creative like Kanu. We need a striker who is fast , creative and rugged. We need the likes uche, the nigerian prodigee who is fast becoming a nightmare to any defender tt is unfortunate to confront him. barbatov, or Aghahuwa when he was in his hey days LONG LIVE ARSENAL Bar. Please cast your minds back to Chelsea's equalising goal in last seasons FA Cup Semi-Final...Forget the awful goalkeeping, think of the appalling excuse for a tackle from Eboue that preceeded it....Zero positional sense, zero awareness...Mr Eboue, you are not in a position to make demands...please leave.

Eboue has had to struggle with acceptance amongst gunners really, thanks to his whining abilities and lack of football intelligence. However, my opinion is that he's a fantastic replacement for Sagna at left back, in case he gets injured. Same can't be said of his right midfield performances though. The main problem in the team has always been the SPINE. Solid central defender, central midfield and world class striker. every other dept. is pretty much OK. I'd love to have him stay.

Do any of you actually speak English?
More importantly, have any of you seen Arsenal play recently?
Eboue is awful. Can you see him getting a game for Utd, Chelsea or Liverpool?
Thought not. In that case we're better off moving him on and trying to bring in players who are going to help us break in to the Top Three....

lets face the facts. Its been a very tough year for Gunners and Gooners alike. Eboue has definetly played a part in Arsenal and their performance. Wenger is not Arsenal's problem and i totally disagree with the people that say wenger is the sole cause of all this. If anything Wenger is one of the major people keeping this ship afloat. Should we blame anyone or anything, it could be the lack of offensiveness in our play.

sad to hear that ebue wants to leave.....but honestly i'd like to say that it's better for arsenal to keep him....this season seemed to be very tough, and you need more ammo if you desire to win something....

I'm a die-hard gunner but mistakes of le professuer Mr Wenger are the ones that cost us maily. In the first place he signed sagna who has never convinced me to be a better right back than Eboue, likewise with silvestre he needed to gloom senderoes into a better defender but he instead he loaned him to Milan and if he leaves it's not his problem, however much he defended dangerously on several occassions i don't think he ould have made an assist to Oshea's goal like the frenchman did, anyway our solution is simple am tired of converting player postions we can benefit fom this current squad better even than the 'Invicibles' how much they had a winning mentality they hardly passed the ball like these ones do and they have no phobia of big clubs that's why it's only man Utd that has come up convincingly against them but other big clubs the so-called boys are true men,i'm just a concerned fan of the mighty ARSENAL long live GOONERS

I will be sad to see him leave too
I feel that he is a great offensive right-back who utilise the flanks well ...
Not that i dun like Sagna (a very good defensive player though he needs to
work on his offensive play), he has been playing too many games over the
last 2 seasons ... if i am the manager, i will use Sagna (60% of the games) and
Eboue (40% and esp on games when we need to be more offensive)if Eboue is to go, i hope that Arsenal will get Glen Johnson ....
he has been a great right-back for England over the past few games ..
good offensive play with good crosses and utilization of the flanks
but his price may be out of Arsenal's league unfortunatelyCheers

i think 'EBUKA'(Eboue)deserve some respect but at the same time he should know that we need our very best eleven (at a time)this season for every match....if requires that he stays on bench in a particular game pls take it....we still need you

INFACT EBOUE IS A GOOD PLAYER BUT THE FACT IS THAT IF HE NEEDS TO GO NO NEED OF KEEPING HIM IN THE EMIRATES, LET HIM BE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO GO WHERE HE THINKS HE WILL GO AND PROVE TO THE WORLD THAT HE IS THE BEST.

Wenger should not let any player go.. If he wants to develope a good team.. U send good players away and then u start grooming others which is not bad but building up that good coordination will be so hard.. That is what the old man doesnt seem to be understanding at his age.

Eboue's issue has already been raised by some of us fans. Arsenal has groomed a number of good players in almost every department and most of these players are actually fit to be in the first team. The challenge facing mr Wenger now is whom to select ?
If one is not careful, he might end up by selecting the same people to play in most matches. This has two negative effects:
i) Players who are left out get frastrated and start thinking of leaving the club ( Eboue is anticipating this).
ii) Players who take longer without playing, loose skills. ( note that mare training with the usual player mates does not develop one's skills as when he meets real challenges with opponents in a competion)One of the possible solutions to this problem is to set two first teams and alternate them depending on the stength of the opponents.
Mr Wenger should by now have noted that this is aproblem in Arsenal and we lost a number players due to that. We hope he has a solution to this.
It would be advisable that Arsenal retains all the current players, because mr Wenger and his technical team have worked very hard to develop them to that level and they are still improving since they are young. We are yet to harvest from that effort, so it would be very unfortunate if players start leaving before the club is rewarded. So Arsenal Management should promptly address all issues including poor pay which might kill the long term investment which mr Wenger and his technical team started some time back.
