Wenger praise for Gazidis

Manager Arsène Wenger has praised the contribution made by CEO Ivan Gazidis since the South African joined in January.

Wenger said: "We are starting to notice the differences he is making at the club.

"Everyone with a big responsibility like that has a different personality which they bring to the job, and he is making a few changes.

"Ivan Gazidis came in and he lightened the workload for Ken Friar [the acting managing director], certainly, and myself a bit too."

Melo's been linked a lot with Arsenal. I won't make up my mind about him until I see him play as the sole defensive midfielder in a team. Remember he's sharing the holding role with Gilberto in the Brazillian national team. Remember how solid the same Gilberto looked until Vieira left.

Gazidis to get more praises not only from Wenger, but also from the teaming Arsenal fans worldwide, if can help land a deal for Felipe Melo & a decent striker in place of Adebayor should he eventually leaves.
