Vela suffers suspected ankle injury
Striker Carlos Vela has suffered a suspected ankle injury in Mexico's CONCACAF Gold Cup match against Nicaragua.
The exciting forward, who is a favourite with Arsenal fans, clashed with Solórzano David in the fourth minute of the match.
The ill-timed challenge left Vela clutching his right ankle.
Vela received treatment and tried to continue but was eventually substituted when it was clear that he could not continue.
There haven't been that much news on the injury since and it is still unclear if this puts his pre-season preparation with Arsenal in doubt.
