Former Arsenal defender David O'Leary has admitted that he would consider an assistant manager role, but only at either Manchester United or Arsenal.
O'Leary, who has previously managed Leeds United and Aston Villa, said that it would be a difficult opportunity to turn down if either Alex Ferguson or Arsène Wenger approached him for the role.
But O'Leary has fallen out of favour with many Arsenal fans during his previous managerial spells, but there are a distinct few who think he just might be the next Arsenal manager.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, O'Leary said: "The only people who could take me as a number two would be an Alex Ferguson or an Arsène Wenger and I'd be back tomorrow.
"There are two clubs you would love to manage, Arsenal and Manchester United. One thing I knew from George Graham who is close to Alex Ferguson, Alex will nearly die in the job... if you know what I mean.
"I don't want to be making out that my tongue is hanging out ass licking to get into a job. That's just not me."
So he's not currently ass-licking with these latest comments, eh?

This guy is a complete crank. Not content with his limitaions being clearly exposed whilst at Leeds and Villa he honestly thinks he could work with Ferguson or Wenger!!!
I wouldn't even trust him to coach the Under 12 girls...

AAARRGGHHH!! Anyone remember what happened last time Leary was at a big club they went down to league 1, come on the worst transfer operator in the world and tactically inept at best he should be an ambassador like the other wank manager Bryan Robson. Fans in the off-season do come up with real detritus and this had better be in that category I wouldn have him as boot cleaner let alone asst. Manager and if someone could introduce me to the 'distinct few who think he just might be the next Arsenal manager' so i can set fire to them!

Definitely not wanted at Manchester United. Is a poor respecter of people (e.g. Martin O'Neal), is a crying baby like Tevez (only difference being that was a manager before whilst Tevez is (was?) a player. First he has to learn to be a people-person.
