Former Arsenal winger Robért Píres took part in a rout of Spanish minnows Navata.
Píres, currently playing for Villareal, scored a brace in the 27-0 friendly game, which was part of the club's pre-season programme.
The Frenchman left Arsenal under difficult circumstances after he was deemed surplus to requirements, but continues to capture the hearts and imagination of Gooners worldwide.

I would love to see Pires become one of Arsenal staff when his playing career end.

Super bob...., without a doubt, one of my favourite all time Arsenal players.
That nonchalant waddle of a run, that flair, that swagger, the refusal to speak in english. The most French person i've ever come across, and yet somehow, that was a positive thing.
He'll live long in the memory. What a player, a true legend.
btw..., 27-0, wtf is that all about??
