Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor says that him and his new team mates can challenge Arsenal for a position in the top four.
The Togolese international is confident of his side's chances of securing a Champions League position next season.
Adebayor moved from Arsenal to Manchester City in a controversial £25 million deal.
He said: "They have the players, they have the squad and they have the spirit to fight for the top four, and that is why I have signed for this club.
"We will do our best, fight on the pitch and see what we can achieve.
"I think we have a chance to fight against Arsenal to be in the top four."
Let's prove him wrong.

If Man City is serious, they should fire Hughes. He is NOT capable of managing a team of superstars and keep them in order. Seriously, they'll need a Mourinho-type of personality.

it's adebuyme who will end up fighting for fourth striker position after missing sitters, who is to say in january more strikers wont come to them? just look at r madrid and see what money can do to the bosses as well. It says a lot the fact the milans and barcas he speaks about are no looking at him any more. hence his 'citeh have always bn my first choice,' like a street whore.

he thinks they can fight for the forth spot. well if they could strengthen their mid-field and the defense they probably might. but i dont understand why he thinks it is arsenal and not chelsea or liverpool he would fight against. does he think that after we get a new striker(one who could score goals unlike him) we would be competing for 4th and not the title?

Man City need to buy a defender or two and another midfielder before they think about 4th place. When building a house you start with the foundations, not the roof.
