Fiorentina target Eboue

Defender Emmanuel Eboue is a target for Italian club Fiorentina, coach Cesare Prandelli has admitted.
The Ivory Coast international has been identified by Prandelli as a player who can switch from defence to attack effectively and it's an attribute that he wants in his squad.
The revelation will come as a surprise to the Arsenal fans who have been itching to get Eboue off the club's books for some time now.
Prandelli said: "Eboue is a very important player. In attack he is second to very few players in his role.
"I'm not going to look at other positions because first we want to evaluate what we have in order not to make the slightest mistake in the market.
"We have to make targeted moves. Eboue has characteristics which we are definitely looking for.
"We want to attack a lot on the wings and so we need players who are good at forcing their way through and with good technical skills too.
"I repeat that this Arsenal lad has a stand-out driving force.
"I don't want to think about other roles at the moment, also because he is not yet our player."
Personally, I'm wondering if it's a good idea to let Eboue go, as he is the only natural replacement for Bacary Sagna and we're also concerned about our lack of squad depth.
However, Fiorentina are reportedly willing to pay up to £10 million for Eboue and in today's market that is a lot to pay for a player who is not even in the starting eleven.

Decision should be quite plain and simple.. cash in on him! Use that money to get Miguel Veloso or Marcos Senna..

Eboue was great, but in the last two seasons he has proven to be a liabilty. Maybe this is atributed to the fact that he is out of place in mid field. Anyway, if possible they should get the $10 mil and move on.
Players come and go thats a fact in soccer and NO ONE Player is ever bigger than the fans

Great sell Eboue for Anything above 5 million, then get Paddy Vieira back for a couple of years on the cheap to do the holding midfield destroyer role. He would e fantastic for us! Why let bl**dy Sp*rs get him when he is tailor made for the position we have the most need for!!!!!! Is it because Wenger is too proud to bring back a player he let go too soon?
The signing of vermealen is pointless at the moment because he is another Gallas type defender although hopefully not with the same attitude. We need a big centre back still who can dominate the air in the box, and with the added height that Paddy would give us, just think of the strength when defending and at corners!

Selling Eboue £10m is not a solution but a big blunder coz we always look for money & forget the gap left without replacement. If we really need to sell we have Diaby who always play 90 with full of blunders.For me Eboue is one of the best player we have right now he only need support.Remember he was part of team reached C.L final & contribute alot in that defence..

10 million quid?? Arsenal should bite their arms off!! He was a liability everytime he played last season.
We need consistency and experience this coming season or we'll be slopping around in the filth with the likes of Tittenham Hot Spurts!!Bye Bye Adebayor and Sell Sell Eddy Booey!!!
