Hleb moves to Stuttgart

Former winger Alexander Hleb has chosen former club VfB Stuttgart on loan for next season.

The Belarus international was part of a deal that brought Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o to Inter Milan, with Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic moving the other direction.

But Hleb has instead chosen to go back to Germany, saying: "I have opted for VfB (Stuttgart) because the team has great potential and I am convinced that we can achieve a lot together."

Stuttgart general manager Horst Heldt added: "We have signed a world class player with Alexander Hleb. He will increase the quality of our squad even further."

Hleb left Arsenal to join Barcelona but never really established himself in the first team.

So it all comes full circle for Hleb. After leaving Stuttgart for Arsenal a few years ago, he now leave Barcelona for them...

Hleb has always been overated and his dismal failure at Barcelona shows that. He had plenty of time to 'pop out for icecream'last season! Hleb is yet another example of a player whose ego far outweighs his talent.

It was very pathetic to see the way Hleb missed the opportinity of further establishing himself in the beautiful Arsenal colours. Whoever had advised him to leave Arsenal greatly damaged his footballing career.
If you show brilliantly in Arsenal, it is just because of Arsenal, Aresene Wenger and the fans who are always patient. That show does not guarantee a repeat perfeomance in other clubs. We have seen this in the career of so many ex-gunners; we are going to see more soon! Watch out please.

Well i think that hleb should have stayed at arsenal why move to a club like barca when you know that there is so much competition for a place in the middel? he was a fantastic player for us he should have come to us at half the price that we sold him for !
